The Ara team says it is creating an open platform for anybody to create their own module. However, it is not really an anybody as you must be an experienced developer to have a hand in this awesome project. There were a lot of rumors about this phone and now it is slated to hit the market next year. Be sure to not forget that as it is a phone that is expected to sell out fast.
